Family Feed’s getting started cooking tips

This week instead of showing you a new recipe we are sharing content we filmed in the spring 2021. It was designed to help people who are new to or lack confidence in, cooking. Its goal is to share tips that are devoid of jargon and fuss to help you in getting started with your cooking journey.

Food for busy people

We are a very busy house hold and cooking fast and delicious food is possible because of the store cupboard essentials we have to hand. My store cupboard is well stocked and might be a bit overwhelming if you are getting started. So I tried to think about the key ingredients I take camping with me to create a list of must have ingredients. The getting started cooking tips segment is all about sharing our tips for an easy, basic and more exciting approach to cooking.

There is nothing highbrow about this video. It’s a hands-on, welcoming approach to all levels of home cook. You might know some of these tips and tricks already. You might just need a reminder. This is a great post to share with those in our community who have children getting ready to leave for university. I know that I want my children to be able to feed themselves good food just like my Mum taught me.
